Since 2010 agility takes place as part of the supporting program. And it attracts year over year more audience and competitors. Top handlers from Austria, Croatia, Estonia, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Switzerland (of course \ud83d\ude09 ) are represented, just to name a few. The competition is constructed in three qualification runs, a semi-final and the final in the form of an american.<\/p>\n<div  class='av_promobox av-157fzb-7ac0e17cbe99d724981e00f7ff3a4403 avia-button-no  avia-builder-el-1  el_before_av_promobox  avia-builder-el-first '><div class='avia-promocontent'><p>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">What&#8217;s an american?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>An american is an other form of an agility or jumping run. It&#8217;s most comparable to snowboard parallel slalom. Two identical courses next to each other. jump start, faults, refusals and disqualifications get penalized with seconds added to the time run. The faster wins the round. The typical american runs in accordance with knock-out process.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;m so delighted about Cute&#8217;s achievements. Indeed I trashed our first run, with a split second of inattention. But with friday&#8217;s second run &#8211; it was a Open-Agility judged by Otto Fr\u00fchwirth (A)\u00a0&#8211; we got qualified for the semi-final. It was a course with some key elements to get rid of. Cute did such a good and fast job that we earned the 1st place!<br \/>\nThe Saturday morning started with the third and last qualification run &#8211; a Open-Jumping again judge by Otto Fr\u00fchwirth. It looks like he&#8217;s our lucky judge or maybe it could also be the one-hand-turns, who knows&#8230; I just know Cute reached the 3rd place. And got qualified a second time for the semi-final. Ok this doesn&#8217;t matter, but anyway \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Then in the afternoon the semi-finals started. To get to the final this round had to be\u00a0a clean-run. It was a Agility-Open this time judge by Andr\u00e9 Maurer (LUX). Unfortunately (huh&#8230;I hate to start sentence with this word), Cute missed the slalom entry or I forced her to much. And there was the point where our gold-journey stopped immediately. But it continues for other Swiss and ended with the gold fever for Manuela Eichenberger and Win. My congratulations!<\/p>\n<p>The evenings apart from the competition were good entertainment and a lot of fun. From horse shows via dinners and xmas market with mulled wine through to room parties everything was in the program. I was looking forward to this weekend and I didn&#8217;t get belied neither from a sportive nor from a private perspective. I am more than satisfied about the weekend with two top 3 places between all those good handlers and dogs. Seit 2010 ist Agility fester Bestandteil des Rahmenprogramms. Und Jahr f\u00fcr Jahr kann mehr Publikum und Teilnehmer daf\u00fcr begeistert werden. Top Teilnehmer aus \u00d6sterreich, Kroatien, Estland, der Tschechischen Republik, Deutschland, Italien und der Schweiz (nat\u00fcrlich \ud83d\ude09 ) sind vertreten um nur einige zu nennen. Das Turnier ist in drei Qualifikationsl\u00e4ufe, einem Halbfinale und einem Finale in Form eines American gegliedert.<\/p>\n<div  class='av_promobox av-74bcuf-377f9eb0e45f343d34a35fcc75cfca3e avia-button-no  avia-builder-el-2  el_after_av_promobox  avia-builder-el-last '><div class='avia-promocontent'><p>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Was ist ein American?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ein American ist eine andere Form eines Agility oder Jumpings. Es ist am besten vergleichbar mit einem Parallelslalom im Snowboard. Zwei identische Parcours neben einander. Fr\u00fchstart, Fehler, Verweigerungen und Disqualifikationen werden mit zus\u00e4tzlichen Sekunden bestrafft und zur Laufzeit addiert. Der Schnellere gewinnt. Das typische American wird im K.O.-Verfahren ausgetragen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>Ich bin \u00fcbergl\u00fccklich \u00fcber Cute&#8217;s Leistungen. Anf\u00e4nglich hab ich unseren ersten Lauf mit einem Sekundenbruchteil der Unaufmerksamkeit vermasselt. Aber mit\u00a0Freitags zweitem Lauf &#8211; ein Open-Agility gerichtet von Otto Fr\u00fchwrith (A) &#8211; haben wir uns f\u00fcrs Halbfinale qualifiziert. Es war ein Parcours mit einigen Schl\u00fcsselstellen denen es gerecht\u00a0zu werden galt. Cute machte einen so guten\u00a0und schnellen Job, dass sie sich den 1. Platz verdiente!<br \/>\nDer Samstagmorgen startete mit dem dritten und letzten Qualifikationslauf &#8211; einem Open-Jumping wiederum von Otto Fr\u00fchwirth. Es sieht so aus als w\u00e4re er unser Gl\u00fccksrichter oder aber es liegt an den Ein-Hand-Wendungen, wer weiss&#8230; Ich weiss nur dass Cute den 3. Platz erreichte. Und sich wiederum f\u00fcr das Halbfinale qualifizierte. Ok, das tut nichts zur Sache, aber egal \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Am Nachmittag schliesslich galt der Fokus den Halbfinale. Um das Finale zu erreichen musste diese Runde mit einem Clean-Run beendet werden. Es war ein Agility-Open diesmal gerichtet von Andr\u00e9 Maurer (LUX). Leider (och&#8230; ich hasse es einen Satz so beginnen zu m\u00fcssen), verpasste Cute den Slalomeingang oder ich dr\u00fcckte sie zu fest. Da war der Punkt gekommen wo unsere Goldreise ein j\u00e4hes Ende fand. Sie ging aber f\u00fcr andere Schweizer weiter und endete f\u00fcr Manuela Eichenberger mit Win in einem Goldrausch. Herzlichen Gl\u00fcckwunsch!<\/p>\n<p>Die Abende abseits von Agility waren sehr unterhaltsam und spassig. Von Prferdeshows zu Abendessen und Weihnachtsmarkt mit Gl\u00fchwein bis hin zu Zimmerpartys war alles dabei. Ich hab mich lange auf dieses Wochenende gefreut und wurde in keinster Art und Weise entt\u00e4uscht. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden mit dem Wochenende und den zwei top 3 Pl\u00e4tzen unter all diesen top Teilnehmer und Hunden.
